Job Overview

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for a Billing Specialist Remote Job to support end-to-end revenue cycle management operations for hospitals and physician groups nationwide. As a Senior Billing Specialist (Remote), you will be responsible for resolving failed claims, managing rebills and late charges, and ensuring accurate and timely billing across multiple payer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve failed bills and claims across host and billing vendor systems

• Process daily electronic claim submissions (including 277s) and correct claim errors

• Monitor claim rejections and recommend system or process improvements

• Manage late charges, rebills, and hardcopy claim submissions

• Attach medical records, EOBs, and supporting documentation to claims

• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to obtain billing information

• Support absentee staffing desks as needed

• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for billing staff

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience

• CPB Certification (required)

• Experience working with multiple payers or subject-matter expertise in one payer

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (error adjusted)

• Ability to deliver a mock training session during the interview process

• Internal candidates must meet productivity (100%) and quality (95%) benchmarks
