Job Summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care in an acute care hospital setting in Walla Walla, Washington. This role focuses on optimizing medication therapy outcomes through collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient populations

  • Optimize medication therapy using evidence-based guidelines

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use

  • Support integrated pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance

  • Educate patients and caregivers on medication therapies when appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy

  • Active Washington State Pharmacist License (upon hire)

  • Board of Pharmacy Preceptor License (when eligible and applicable)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (where applicable)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of acute care hospital pharmacy experience

  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
